Vision
To create a future of environmentally responsible and sustainability-minded adults by educating the children of today. To reach children and adults all over the country by educating those about environmental issues through various activities like street drama, school presentation, trash cleaning events, F.M program, etc…
Goal
To raise awareness among school aged children and the general public about current environmental issues and local relevance. To deliver skill- based awareness and education programs which encourage positive behaviour change of all key target groups that have an impact on natural environment
Objectives
- To raise awareness among school aged children and the general public about environmental issues and their local relevance.
- To motivate and engage all people especially the students, youths and community people in Nepal to actively participate in protecting the environment. For this, education on the importance of environment will be a critical component that CGNN thinks and desires to adopt policy of educating.
- To raise awareness among today’s school aged children about current environmental issues and local relevance so that they can bring about change tomorrow.
- To further advocate on environmental issues in rural areas where people are not as exposed to an understanding of the consequences of their actions.
- To develop a wider network of volunteers overall Nepal to contribute for achieving goals of environment protection and conservation.
- To implement various campaigns like competitions related to environment, dramas, musical concerts, rallies etc to achieve positive behaviour change among people.
Accomplishments
Thousands of children and adults reached by our project activities, including environmental presentations in schools, trash cleanings, art projects, and participation in a variety of public events. CGNN has worked with NGO’s, INGO’s and GO’s in several projects and events as partnership and collaboration.
